Lolly & Esther-I think that you have made wise decisions with respect to the vaccine trial. You should get the most out of your chemotherapy before you enter the trial. Remember that the chemo you are using has a known anti-cancer effect, while the vaccine is an unknown quantity. I will point out that Lisa and I talked with Dr. Disis the last time we were in Seattle and she indicated that it was her hope with the vaccines that a complete treatment protocal would be developed wherein chemo, radiation, surgery would all be used in the first instance then herceptin and the vaccine would be used later to prevent recurrance.

Thanks for that information Brian, it fits in with what I've been thinking. I hope this trial will prove that out!
