Hi,
I am currently on Arimedex and Xeloda along with the monthly Zometa. My tumor markers are on the rise and the doc may move me to another chemo instead of Xeloda. I was toying with the idea of sitching over to Femara and see if it has any effect on the tumor markers. Xeloda id really doable except for the dryness and pigmentation in the hands and feet. Has anybody whose tumor was both her2+ and ERpositive moved on from Arimidex to Femara? Could I please know the difference in the side effects you felt and did it give a positive response. I did go to the drugs.com website to find out info on the drugs, both seem to give more or less the same side effects. A more first hand info from you all will much better than the general side effects listed. Thanks and lots of hugs.
