Does anyone know how long the effects generally last? I am an adjuvant bc patient who took the typical rounds of A/C & Taxol.

I am having a terrible time. I am always hunting for words that have vanished and forgetting things (short-term memory lapses). I am being forced to write EVERYTHING down. My analytical processes seem slower as well. I'm being forced to finish snappy come-backs in my head because the conversation is long over!

It's driving me nuts!!!!!!!! I thought one of the problems with chemo is that it didn't cross the blood-brain barrier. Why is this happening?

Regards,
Merridith
