Hi,
Just wanted to drop by and let you all know about a lovley woman i met at the clinic on Friday, we sat chatting and i told her i had breast cancer and was at the clinic for a check up, she replied that she had BC 13 years ago, 8 years ago the cancer returned in her Liver and lungs, after much chemo and rads and hormone treatment this lady was sat next to me NED, and she looked amazing, i just had to tell you all, it was such a shining light of hope, this disease can be beaten, oh and by the way she had some of her tumour frozen 7 years ago which was tested and yep you guessed it shes Her2+++!!
Thanks for letting me share

Thank you for posting that...I always love to hear great stories like that. It helps to visualize myself doing the same thing.

Even though things are progressing very well for me treatment wise, sometimes it seems like a never ending treatment schedule.

Hope to post that I'm NED too...sometime not too far off.

Thanks Nikki. I was just sitting here feeling sorry for myself (tomorrow I go for my second chemo for mets to the lungs and liver) and your story gave me some hope. Last chemo kicked my butt for five days so was not looking forward to the next one. Now I'm hoping for someday being NED myself.

love,

shelley
