You are the 1st lady i have come across who is er- pr+, gee how rare is this? is it as rare as rocking horse poo??? or just un-common, and what does it mean? is it good? or really bad??
I am 90% pr+ pretty high, but i don't know what significance this bears on the final outcome....i am currently having Arimidex, i hope that kicks its butt.

Hi Nikki, this is purely via a grapevine and I can't confirm it, but I did read somewhere that if you test ER-, PR+, it likely means the test is in error.

I am ER+50%, PR+90%, HER2 +++

That is what I was trying to find out last night. According to the link I sent you, the odds are only .5%. My rad onc. says if you are only one, it is better to be PR+ than ER+ and that I should be able to find all sorts of stuff on pubmed to verify that. Well, all I found was stuff like what I sent - that said at best they were about the same, and that PR doesn't add much. I'm going to press him for the info that says that though (that PR is better than ER). If I find it I'll send it to you.

I do know one other lady who is ER-/PR+. Being PR 90% is a good thing though.....better than if they were both negative for sure. Whether it's better than ER+ 90% and PR- is unclear to me.
