Like I said, from all my reports they thought I would never recue...so I was not given any adjuvant chemo, just a mastectomy with node dissection...I started Herceptin onlu 1 1/2 years later with the first recurrence, and now after a year on Herceptin, they need to add something as I've had another recurrence. Hoping it works this time!

Isn't it possible that even though your doctors THOUGHT you were node negative, that you weren't?

That is why I think that treating ALL her2neu positive cancers as if they WERE node positive is so so so so important. And that is what they are doing now, i believe - they give everyone who will take one, a taxane.
