Sorry to keep posting, but I'm trying to find a protocol that suggests how many weeks of chemo should be done in combination w/RFA...I have an intervential radiologist that has agreed to take on my case, now I have to meet w/my onc on Tuesday a.m. to discuss how many add'l chemos (I've done 3 weekly tx's already).The radiologist says previous pts. he's worked with did 2 weekly tx's, RFA, followed by 2 weekly tx's.My onc seems to prefer waiting for chemo to do its work for 8 weeks, then RFA if needed.
I've been NED for a year, & just discovered this single 11mm lesion in my liver, everywhere else is clean.
Anyone out there w/specific experience that I can bring the info back to my onc?
