I just wanted to let everyone on this site know how great you are. Recently I joined some other sites just to add to my circle of support and I was very, very disappointed with all the negativity. OMG!!!! I realized I was getting depressed after reading post from these other sites. I am so thankful for all of you that have offered educated, informative and positive feed back and posts! I am Stage IV but I dont consider myself as dying a little each day as I read over and over WHEW! Wore me out! 2015 is here and I plan on being here for a lot more New Years - look forward to many more conversations with each of you. Thanks again for all your support!

Thanks so much for bringing this up! I, too, treasure this group. Somehow the group ethos is consistently helpful, hopeful, and life-affirming. I drew tremendous strength from it after I was first diagnosed, and I continue to benefit from the goodness, kindness, generosity and wisdom I find here. I have made friends here. I always know I'm not alone.

And, following the lead of so many gracious, unselfish "old-timers," I come here to support others in their struggles and share their joys.

Happy new year to everyone here, and I hope we'll be saying this to one another many, many more times. And if not, I want you to know it's been good to know you all.

I, too, draw strength from the positive, strong, amazing, supportive women ( and men) on this board. Along with the support, I have also learned so much, that doctors and nurses don't know/don't tell you (i.e. side effect hints, clinical trials, new drugs, etc..). This board has been invaluable!

Yes, I hope we are all around for many many more New Years!!

I want to chime in and agree with all of you ... I am grateful every day for this board and everyone here. I didn't find out I had HER2+++ cancer in my left breast until AFTER my double mastectomy, so I was late finding this group. I wish I had known about you all before my surgery ... since I found this forum, I have had so much support and know that I am not alone! Unlike before my surgery!
