10 yrs brain mets - still NED ...
... in my head and everyplace else.
With all that has been happening in my life I was late with my annual screening brain MRI. I had to cancel my appt in May as I was gone, but had it yesterday. Good news once again - no new spots, and the old ones do not show activity. Had my test in the new machine. It is wider but LOUDER. Same cacophony of noises and sounds but louder even with headphones, music and foam wedges to hold my head still. |

That is great news...keep up the good brain waves!! I don't know why those machines are so LOUD!!

StephN, Congrats! And hoping for decades more for you. Thank you for posting this. It really helps me, being stage IV brain mets, hearing about your successful longevity of NED. I will be thinking of your StephN Superpowers in the next few weeks when I go in for my brain MRI.

Re: 10 yrs brain mets - still NED ...
God bless you Steph. I remember it all so well. Stage 4 liver mets and NED then the brain mets discovered with no symptoms. And all goes well and continues to. As with Tricia, you were one of the first ones on this board to greet me. You are one great woman. A thousand hugs and kisses to you.

Re: 10 yrs brain mets - still NED ...
StephN,
Hi! Congrats!! I have a question about your brain mets....did you have any symptoms? I have been getting headaches regularly but not constantly. I feel sometimes it is from sinus congestion or tension from my neck but don't want to overlook any symptoms. I don't want to overreact.... Thanks, Kathy |
