A couple of months ago, while browing through the hospital website, I located my medical oncologist's biography.

Besides his oncology training, he's also certified in Internal Medicine. What's more, he had spent a year after medical school to study pharmacology and received an additional diploma.

The combination of chemo he prescribed for me 8 years ago - FEC - is now the standard chemotherapy used in the UK.
