Tykerb and Nails

I am tolerating Tykerb very well and it is working. However, my nails are a mess, and they continue to break. I wonder if I could use some sort of nail strengthener that is non-toxic?
Thanks,
Barbara H.

I used Nail tech, but it really didn't do any good. I have been off Herceptin and Tykerb since the middle of Nov. and my nails are finally beginning to be decent. Maybe you will have better luck.

Mine have always been thin, but are more so on Tykerb (I've been on it for 3 yrs)... I started using clear Sally Hansen's hard as nails about two weeks ago, and they seem to be slowly growing without breaking when they get beyond the fingertip. Will let you know how it goes.
