Thank you from Adriana

Hi Ladies,

Just a short note to thank everyone for their wonderful wishes. Just to know you still remember me it felt great!!

As far as the hair goes, yes, I see a few hairs here and there, oh well...-- I kept a few wigs so it does not bother me a bit, just wanted to be prepared.

Love,

Adriana

Dear Adriana -
Very sorry to see you back on a hard chemo.

I am sure it will knock back whatever is happening.

Was it because of the high liver function numbers that you had to stop the T-DM1??

Adriana,

You'll look as beautiful as usual, despite the hairstyle change.

I'm also sorry to hear that you'll be taking Doxil. It's the newer version of Adriamycin. I pray that Doxil and Herceptin will get everything back under control.

Many hugs,

Joan

Re: Thank you from Adriana

Adriana-
I've been off the boards for the past few weeks & am just catching up...
I'm so sorry to hear your news and I just want to send you big hugs of comfort.
It's ALWAYS a bummer to lose your hair. I've lost mine 4 times now-twice in 6 months-from Halaven, then WBR. At the very least, there are no surprises in the familiarity-knowing which wigs suit your face and especially, already knowing what you look like bald. I'm not going to say it's not a big deal, because for the 10years that I've been fighting this disease I've hated wearing a wig each and every time.
Of course the priority is beating back the monster and that is our first and foremost prayer for you and all of us. But there are so many other things that we are required to accommodate gracefully. My wish for you, and again, for all of us, is our treatments are effective and tolerable.
Take good care of you & we'll stand by for updates and good news.

Keep the faith,
Jessica
