Five years from diagnosis
I've been meaning to come back and let everyone know that I made it - it's been 5 years from diagnosis last month for me! When first diagnosed I thought it was a death sentence. It hasn't been an easy 5 years but 5 years none the less. I have lymphedema in my right arm that makes my arm very noticeably larger than my left. I've tried everything but nothing helps. I hope what I do is at least slowing it down but each time I measure it is a little larger. Also the AI inhibitors have given me a lot of pain. I have neuropathy and severe back issues. But I'm here! :) I hope and pray for many, many more years of being cancer free for me as well as for all of you!

Re: Five years from diagnosis
Wonderful news! Sorry about the lymphademia. Did you have physical therapy after surgery? That was a life saver for me. I still have a little swelling after either overdoing it with my arm. Or, if I do not stretch that arm it aches a little. I sure hope you can get some relief from the swelling. All the best!
