NED for 5 years!
 

Just received the results of my 6 month scans and am still NED and marking my 5 year anniversary. So relieved and excited that I have made it this far without another recurrence. I do still receive Herceptin every 3 weeks and am grateful that it is continuing to work for me. Hoping to stick around until they come up with a cure for this :-)

Does this mean that getting Perjeta at this time is unlikely?

Thanks Steph. You are such an inspiration to me. Perjeta is still on the table but considering whether or not it should be introduced at this time. I'm kind of thinking "if it ain't broke don't fix it" :-)

That's awesome news! I'm still in treatment (Herceptin only at this point) until summer, but cannot wait until I can start to count the days once I'm off treatment! Yay you!!

I'm so happy for you! I can only imagine how it must feel to have reached this milestone. I'm certainly going to celebrate when I hit this milestone and I hope that you are doing the same!
