My goodness. I've seen that clip before, I've seen the movie, and even just watching that again brings tears to my eyes. Better stock up on tissues before movie night!

Thanks Rhonda. I finally was able to get "Living Proof" at Blockbuster this summer, it was not originally aired in Canada. I had met Dr. Slamon in Toronto this past March at a Breast Cancer Symposium, and seeing this wonderful movie reinforced my impression of him.

all the best

After the movie first aired, I wrote to thank Dr Slamon and I received a very nice response from his staff. They said that due to the volume of mail Dr Slamon receives it is impossible for him to respond persoanlly because of how busy his work keeps him. That's okay by me, let him keep on working and helping others. I stand in awe of him and I am so appreciative of all he has done for so many.
