Anyone not done nipple reconstruction?

I have my bmx coming up June 20. She is doing skin sparing, but taking the nipple on the affected side. I have heard that reconstructed nipples are firm and you don't have sensation. Wondering if there were no nipples, then perhaps going bra-less (or wearing one w/out padding) might be an option?

Would it be crazy to tell her to take them both and go with nothing other than implants?

All I have are the implants. No nipples and no reason to wear a bra. I wear one anyway tho, seems like a normal thing to do and adds cleavage. No sensation and no "headlights" that are always "on". No regrets either.

Did the nipple thing and at first they were huge and firm but did soften over time. Could go bra less without headlights. Areola tatoos never took. They faded and I never went back. I feel kind of 50/50 on the whole thing. Wouldn't miss them much if they weren't there but doesn't bother me that I have them.

What is a padiddle. Medical term???

LOL...I had to Google "Padiddle"! Looks like it is from a game where you spot the car with one headlight :)

I had my nipples done, they aren't hard but do have to wear a bra with tight fitting shirts or else show the headlights.
