Article on link between hormonal therapy and breast cancer
 

Just saw an article (link here) confirming the link between breast cancer and hormonal therapy (and hormones in general). The study was done at UCSF and has been published online in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Very interesting.

Makes me wonder again about all the birth control pills I took starting when I was 17, and the hormonal shot that I got as a teenager (my parents can't remember when) because my periods were irregular then. Oh well, too late now to commiserate about a cause, but still interesting nonetheless.

I've always been positive my 10 years of Prempro resulted in my diagnosis.

Great article, I also spent years taking birth control pills and have wondered if this had something (or a lot) to do with my own diagnosis.
