Thanks, Rhonda, these were excellent links. I enjoyed reading them and they certainly encourages me to continue eating the "unofficial" bc healthy diet.
Again, I think a preventive diet is so much easier than relying on toxic meds. The pharmaceutical companies and American economy have much to gain financially with oncology drug sales, despite the fact that many drugs are toxic and cause other dangerous health problems. I really think that diet, preferably with organic produce/products, is equal in importance with less toxicty and sometimes even more important than taking oncology meds for preventive measures against bc relapse. I just wish the medical community and Amer. Cancer Society would advocate the cancer diet. |
thanks Rondha for you time ..
is very good to have sometimes a remaider how to fallow our diet everyday .....everytime all our new lifestyle .....

Rhonda, I might add that another important supplement is flaxseed, which has ALA that blocks her2 pathway tremendously.

Rhonda,
Thank you for your list. I am still working on my BC diet. I seem to supplement it with wine and chocolate. I am having a good summer. Hope you are too. I love this site and all of my buddies. I no longer am scared to view it. Love to all, Catherine |
Please see the Greek diet post, balancing your omega threes and sixes etc. There are a host of trial references there and you will find more using the search facility.

Thnak you Rhonda. you are the best and the nicest for providing these.
I have fallen off my diet and it's a good reminder to do it again MCS ( maria) |
Thanks for the information Rhonda. As usual I am confused with amounts, for example turmeric - is it enough to have it in a few meals per week or should I take supplements? I'm from the UK and my oncologist doesn't give any advice in diet or supplements.
Thanks Morgan |
Morgan...
I use "true" serving sizes. As for turmeric, I sprinkle some on my salad each day. Take care and God bless.

Would really like to hear others alternative ideas cheers and best wishes Pat p.s my biggest regret is I allowed them to biopsy my tumours. Had I been thinking right this would not have taken place.
