Cyberknife and Ceesun...finally
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to update and let you know I finally finished 5 treatments of cyberknife to the right lung. Oddly, kadcyla had cleared up the left completely but not the right. It took so long due to the fact that the radiation oncology dept at my hospital was wiped out to the tune of 53 million dollars during some August storms we had. (Sent to another hospital.)(Markers inserted) The tumor grew a little due to the wait time, but this chemo break has been great. Now that I am done, I wait 6 weeks to see another scan result. There was some earlier concern about results of bone and adrenal, but all was fine. So, I hope and pray both lungs will be clear now...the ultimate wish! With the grace of God, I will be a grandma again...for the 3rd time...in two months. Best Wishes, Cathy

Hi Cathy. I am happy you finished the Cyberknife sessions and hope your next scan will show good results.You are not the only one for whom Kadcyla worked in some spots and not in others. Does this mean we have simultaneously different kind of tumors? We still have a lot to learn. Now you can enjoy your grandchildren. That's a good plan!
