Best Advice-Sources for BRCA1 gene if Onc ignorant??

Hi, I have a friend on the BCNA site who found out last Dec that she has the BRCA1 gene. Primary cancer 8yrs ago was treated with partial mastectomy, radiotherapy and Chemo.
She had a hysterectomy when young, with one ovary left to prevent early menopause.
Now after just learning that she has BRCA1 gene, and that her cancer was Triple Negative, she getting very conflicting advice about whether or not to have double mastectomy and remaining ovary removed.
Her GP and the radiologist where she has her regular ultrasound and mammogram done say don't worry, don't have more surgery until you need it, just be vigilant. This is in Melbourne Australia in a clinic where they do not seem to know much at all about BRCA1

What are the best sources of information my friend might access, e.g. oncologists/surgeons/genetic advisors/books in Melbourne and also anywhere in the world?
thanks for your help

I know oophorectomy is a vital component for brca 1. This can actually prevent bc in brca1 women as they believe estrogen excitation causes the changes in the breast even though the cancer ends up not being estrogen positive. Of course full double masectomy is recommended too. She needs to push as these surgeries need to g e t done sooner rather than later.

www.facingourrisk.org (FORCE) is the best website to help navigate anything related to BRCA,

Warmly,
