It's also worth noting that the drug neratinib can penetrate the blood brain barrier. So, it can also potentially be used to reduce the chances of brain mets -- and it's indeed specific to Her2+. It should be available in early 2015.

Im waiting for nerantibin to be approved, even though the clinical trials showed potential benefits for stage III bc patients, my doctor is willing to try it out.
Nothing to lose and a lot to gain. |
