Living with cancer & dating again...

I ran across this story on MSNBC...about bc and dating again. It's really a woman's very personal story she choose to share. She was only 30 yrs old when DX with a very aggressive bc...no doubt her2 I'm guessing.

Living with cancer — and daring to date again

Finding love is tough, especially when you have an incurable condition.

Thanks for posting this article. I've also read it in a magazine. I understand completely what this girl is going through. I am still very open to dating even though I am stage IV. It's funny, I am more self concious about my scars than anything else. I've tried to tell men that I am still in treatment but because I am leading a normal life (as far as they can see) they think I'm ok. They don't understand the complexity of it all.

We do have a poster girl - Joy?- who is in an exciting relation right now. I would add '/keep' to the sentence - Finding/keeping love is tough, especially when you have an incurable condition.

Now let me repeat one preacher's statement in a sermon: "We are all terminal". Everyone on this earth is terminal and can die 'anytime'. So an 'incurable' condition really 'should' not be a factor.
