B 9 ... !

BENIGN!!!!!!!!!!

I found out at 6:30 this evening, after emailing my onc, whose office seems to have failed to collect messages left throughout the day.

Onc called me home, on my cell, on Paul's cell and emailed me!!!!

GOOD NEWS.

This time I really was so shaken! Not hearing Monday (as hoped) or alllll day Tuesday (which was assured) and not getting call backs, as usual, left me feeling -- it can only mean ..... (well you know how that dialogue goes...)

So I can breathe again. Thank you for your love and support. It means the world to me! Truly! What would I do without you??!!

Today I felt traumatized as I agonized. Emailing as a last ditch effort got action. The report was received. Seems to go to main hospital FAX not back office! Gotta fix that!! And the nice and new secretary seems to have forgotten to check her messages. Onc said she was shocked when he brought my email info to her attention. What does she mean I didn't return all her phone calls?? Oh dear... So not good. In an onc's office especially!

So my 5 o'clock hail mary got me 3 calls and an e... carrying good news!

My sister just pointed out that it is like my birthday present! (Next Tuesday.)

Now I am going to sleep. Soon, I will par TAY...

I do feel blessed, every day, and especially as of this moment! I am grateful beyond measure. I say, Thank you for my life -- every single day! Several times a day! As I feel myself glow as I smile and look up.

Believe it or not, I seem to have been truly traumitized by the events leading up to yesterday. I am reminded vividly how difficult this journey is/was/is and though I felt myself stumble a sec, I have regained my footing and am filled with renewed resolve.

Bless every one of you sheroes!! YOU ARE ALL AWESOME, LADIES!!!

P.S. The new secretary is actually really nice, genuine, caring, good listener. Maybe she got thrown under the bus... The system has a hole in it, as I had the same experience this past June w/my mesentery mass mess report. The secretary sent me an email this morning, apologizing for what occurred and promising she would never let herself be the cause of suffering again, for me, or for any other patient. That's what I call gracious...

I am moving on. My point was made.
