A quick update from Believe51 - Marie and Ed
 

Marie wants everyone to know that she is doing well, and centered. She sends her love and appreciation to everyone here. They are both focused and centered. Hospice cannot do any more than she is at this point, and Mighty Oak is not on treatment now because he is too ill. He's having problems with the TV remote, reaching, mumbling words, and in pain despite his high tolerance.

She thanks everyone for their prayers and thoughts, she is circling the wagons right now and will join us again soon. Only she knows when that time will be, but I think she is willing to send updates through me.

Thanks Brenda for the update on Ed. I'm always "running into" Marie over at Facebook and it's nice to "see" her their doing different things and sharing different things. Of course, I'm always wondering about Ed but don't bring it up their. Still give her "hugs" and she knows why but I don't bring that part of her life up their.

Thank you Brenda. I can only offer this prayer for Ed and Marie:

Heavenly Father, You are intimately aware of the struggle Ed and Marie are experiencing - the pain and the despair. You know the desire in their hearts that he be healed of this illness. I ask now that Your healing touch be laid upon him. I know that You are able and that just as in Bible times, You can heal him.

“I also understand that You will choose what is best for Ed. I pray that through this trial, they will draw close to You - that You will be their comfort and strength. I pray that ultimately, whatever happens, You will be glorified through them. I pray this in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”

Hi Marie and Ed,
I haven't posted much lately because I have changed grades and am now teaching fifth. Setting up a new classroom at the beginning of the year and starting new curriculum is time consuming, but I am enjoying the change.

I want you to know that both of you are continuously in my thoughts. I am also so sad that the two of you are at this point in your lives. Please know that there are many of us out there that care for you.
