One year NED
 

Today marks my cancerversay. I have been NED for one year.

What a journey it has been.

This board and its members have given me the courage and knowledge to go forth and advocate for myself.

What once seemed dark and unclear is now in the light. In the mornings, I look forward to coming to the HER2 board and seeing my students as they enter the building.

I appreciate every day. I thank God for my blessings. The smallest things mean a lot more to me know.

I confess blessings for us all today.

Mary Jo, I will never forget one rainy cold February morning last year when your post was one of the first I read. It helped me get through that day.

Happy Cancerversary...this day seems more important to many of us than our birthday...I guess for many of us it is a day when we really began to live our lives...may you be blessed with many many more to celebrate!!! You are so uplifting to all of us here!

Thank you so much for the blessings. Shelia, you and Rina are inspirations to me.

Believe, I had planned to call you yesterday, but my car stopped working Saturday afternoon, and I did not get home until 10 p.m.

I was really tired yesterday. I slept most of the afternoon. I am getting mentally ready to go to Seattle on Thursday. I hope the doctor tells me my white count being up to 5.5 is a good sign.

How is the Mighty Oak this week? Is it raining where you are?
