I'm a good candidate for spheres!

If the chemo doesn't work, I'm a good candidate for spheres, a new kind of radiation thing just for the liver. It's not a cure, but like chemo, can help hold things off. At least there's another options so I'm a bit relieved! HavahJ

Remaining optimistic

Hi Jan -
So glad your medical team is coming up with some new ideas.
Where will you have this procedure??

Seems like it can work in conjunction with chemo, perhaps to reduce the amount of chemo or targeted therapy to get you to NED or very close to it.

Let us know when things are decided.

harrie 02-23-2008 08:11 PM

YES!!! So good of your good news for a backup plan!!!

I am excited for the new option that is available. And who knows, pretty soon there might be another treatment option discovered. I think I'll change my signature to 'Hopeful2' :)
