I just had a call today that my Mother has passed away and feeling so sad, it's not bc related but needed to share this news with some of my friends who care.

She was my friend and also my Mum and I miss her so much already, it's going to be a tough week:(

I am so sorry to hear you lost your dear Mother. It's obvious from your post you two were very close. I lost my Mother 3 yrs ago, and like you she was everything to me. I am so sad to hear this news. My mum passed away suddenly many years ago. There isn't a day when i don't miss her. The pain does get better with time and some of the sadness replaced by joy at the special times and things shared.

Thank you all so much for your support and loving messages, I was fortunate in having so many years with her and relieved she was granted a quick passing.
I suppose we just don't expect or are ever ready to lose our Mother's, and life without her will be far sadder, thank you all so much. xx

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother! I wish I could give you a hug in person. Even though time eases some of the pain, life is never the same without your mom. My mom died suddenly at only 47 years of age. It was 53 years ago, and I still think of her and miss her every day. Something that really was a blessing to me was writing a picture book about her life and her family for my grandchildren and great grandchildren who never knew her. I thought it was for them, but it has meant more to me than I could have imagined! Maybe you might consider doing the same if you can. It was really therapuetic for me and the offspring loved the little book. I did one for my dad's life and family too. Hugs. TriciaK

I was very sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad when I was eight and my mom when I was an adult. A day doesn't go by when I do not think of both of them.
