Continued good news
Hello everyone -
Thought I would post some happy news. My last blood draw showed good results with all values in their normal range. My HER2 ELISA serum marker was 7.5, same as last time a few months back. I also had a bone scan this week, which showed negative for any bone mets or areas to relook at. It was a new machine since last time 4 years ago. The scanning is much clearer according to the tech. Brain scan due end of next month. So, I continue to hold my own without my Herceptin security blanket. And I feel stronger lately. Or maybe it is just the boost of an early spring here? |

Re: Continued good news
Thank you all.
I am busy getting ready to give a 50th birthday party for my "little" sister tomorrow. Really wonderful to have the "git up and go" to do this. The food is mostly coming from a local French restaurant, but it is at my house. Anyone else in Extreme Spring Cleaning mode? Either my eyesight has improved or my cleaning got sloppier this winter! |

Re: Continued good news
Steph, That is fantastic news! It actually put a smile on my face...now it's time for the happy dance so please don't watch. lol I had to laugh at Chrisy's reply about bringing in new scanners and they still can't find anything. Too funny! But actually...she makes a good point. YEAH!
It's always good to hear some really good news. That is one appt I would of been walking away from with a really BIG spring in my step. Big congrats! I don't know what your doing...but whatever it is don't change a thing. Posts like yours give so much hope to others. I am just thrilled for you. :) Chelee |
Re: Continued good news
Hi -
Chelee - Very happy to hear fron YOU as well, dear friend. Being able to breathe makes a big difference, huh? After my bone scan I did not know the result - got that a couple days later via e-mail. I figured if I did not have a phone call from my onc or her nurse with the first 36-48 hours, I was "in the clear." And a lot of the time I don't know WHAT I am doing - just bouncing from task to task or resting in between. Still have some difficulty focusing at times. |
