OK, so I jumped on this one a little late, but I wanted to test myself and see if I could get it... believe it or not, I did it without cheating or searching the www. But I guess 20 yrs in the music industry paid off somehow!

Did I get 'em all right?

harrie 08-27-2008 11:23 PM

Wow Hutchbik, impressive!!

PinkGirl 08-31-2008 08:02 PM

What do the following all have in common?

Y, A, Re, Pi, Ed, Lo, and Bo

Colleens_Husband 09-01-2008 04:59 PM

To finish up the answers to the movie quiz question, with the actors and everything included:

2) Roy Batty, played by Rutger Hauer, in Blade Runner
10) President Merkin Muffley played by Peter Sellers in Doctor Strangelove
11) The Joker played by Jack Nicholson in Batman
12) Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future
14) Professor Plum, with a lead pipe, in the conservatory

There. I hope your happy now.

PinkGirl 09-01-2008 05:18 PM

Well Lee, I'm not completely happy yet. You are close on
#12. It wasn't Marty McFly, it was Doc. The actor is
Christopher Lloyd.

There is no #14, although your guess is a good one.

#4 hasn't been answered yet.

chrisy 09-02-2008 12:08 PM

Oh my god!

I've so missed all these quizzes...

But on the movie quote quiz, #4 is Clint Eastwood as Blondie in The Good, the Bad and The Ugly

chrisy 09-02-2008 12:09 PM

Or his official character name might be the man with no name

PinkGirl 09-02-2008 12:17 PM

Yes Chrissy, you are right! You came in at the end and finished
off the quiz.

Now I'm waiting for some guesses on my new quiz.

Gerri 09-02-2008 04:05 PM

They are all letters of the alphabet http://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon7.gif........ Sorry PinkGirl, that's all I've got. Looks like we need a hint on this one.

PinkGirl 09-02-2008 04:24 PM

Okay, I'll give you the rest of the list. There might be a clue in
there. If not, I'll give you another clue.

Ii, Ai, As, Se, Of, Oz, Bo, Ay, Gy, Ho, Uz, Lu

Gerri 09-02-2008 04:33 PM

Gee thanks Pink! That makes it sooooo much clearer!

PinkGirl 09-02-2008 05:27 PM

Okay, here's another hint. They are the shortest names
of .................

Sheila 09-02-2008 06:53 PM

Elements...chemicals....towns in Canada
I have no idea!

PinkGirl 09-02-2008 07:29 PM

The next hint is to study Sheila's guess.

Gerri 09-02-2008 07:58 PM

The Periodic Table?

Gerri 09-02-2008 08:09 PM

Just googled it - apparently not the correct answer.

Hmmm........................................

PinkGirl 09-02-2008 08:48 PM

Let me know if you want another hint.

Bill 09-03-2008 04:23 PM

The names of rivers in Canada?

PinkGirl 09-03-2008 04:32 PM

Nope, that's not it. It has nothing to do with Canada.

Colleens_Husband 09-03-2008 04:46 PM

The chemical composition of non-Canadian one-a-day vitamins?

(I bet I got the non-Canadian part right.)
