Grinning from ear to ear to hear the tiptoe trail light up again! Hope she turns up and hits the road again. If not, Tiptoe 2 can start a new trail. She was a stylish little lady!

We had so much fun with the original Tiptoe. She traveled all around and brought cheer to everyone and we followed her on her own thread as I recall. She was a great diversion to me during chemo even tho she never came to my house. It seems fitting that there is a Tiptoe 2 that is ready to start her own journey. I vote that Tiptoe 2 starts her journey and tells us how the trip goes. She will not need TSA clearance since she probably travels in a box with the postal department. Thanks Jen for finding the second mascot. I know that she will be loved by all.

Hey guys I have not forgotten about this shortly after I started this thread I damaged my radial nerve and have what's called a drop wrist leaving me unable to use my right hand which is my dominant hand. Hopefully with therapy I can regain function and get this going.

Thanks guys for being patient with me on this. I hope to start occupational therapy soon and hopefully gain back function ASAP. It's not too late to let me know if anyone wishes to participate in this send me a message and as soon as I am able to start this going again I will put everyone's name in a bowl and have my daughter pick out the name of the person who will I will send Tip Toe2 first.

Again thank you to everyone wanting to participate and get this started back up. I remember how encouraging and uplift getting to participate in the "original Tip Toes" journeys it was for late Mother Sheila as well as others on here who remember her fondly and I am truly honored to keep this tradition to keep going as soon as I am able.

Jen, I think it was your mom who got the little glasses for Tiptoe and her travel companion. Everyone contributed something. And there was a Journal that each hostess added something in.

Hope your hand is getting better by now.

Yes, please start the adventure for Tiptoe II. Her adventures are lots of fun, especially when you might be sidelined by chemo, radiation or surgery. I had invited Tiptoe to come to Oregon back in about 2007. Another friend and I from the site were finally going to meet in person at the state Capitol. We thought the Tipster might want to talk to a few of the legislators. Our plans fell apart when my friends cancer returned and she could not leave the house. We never were able to meet in person and then she passed away.

Good news my hand/wrist is starting to be functional again. I still need to get a journal and photo album to send her off with.. Is there anything else anyone can think of to send off with Tippy? I have gone through jewelry left to by my late Mom Sheila to send her off with. I remember how much Mom enjoyed visiting with the Original Tip Toe and would very much love to include her (at least in Spirit as well). There is still time for anyone who would like to participate in "Tip Toes Travels" message me your address and when I am able to get everything ready I will draws names and announce the winner of getting Tip Toe2 first..

Jen, so glad you are doing better! Tiptoe should travel light, I am sure she will acquire baggage on her travels. Again, so gladd you are well and looking forward to Tippy Travels.
