For those with varices be careful. I developed esophageal varices which subsequently ruptured,causing a major bleed,requiring endoscopies with banding, A very frightening and dangerous situation. This occurred after 41/2 on full dose of TDM-1.

Thank you Phil and Kathy for reporting this varice side effect. Are we seeing this more often for women that have been on TDM1 for a few years? I will for sure inform my onc. Michka
