I had taxol in 2002 after Adriamycin/Cytoxin chemo and after BC surgeries. My pain and nerve damage from taxol began with the first dose and the effects are still with me. There are lots of things I learned to diminish the problems which seem to be primarily in my feet but now I suspect contribute to circulation issues (feelings of extreme cold in legs, feet etc) and occasionally pangs elsewhere. For feet: wide shoes or sandals with no pressure on sides of feet, minimize barefoot walking, magnetics, use of foot lotions/shea butter and encasing in night booties..to minimize night discomfort/burning/pins and needles at nite), using nikken CM skin cream anytime..(has cetyl myristoleate and is fast absorbing)...To increase circulation: exercise..
