Steph thanks for posting about Ester. I knew she had been missing from another list and this list for awhile, and that she was having problems.
I am so sad to read that it is now dire. Many, many prayers going out for Ester and her hubby and son. |
Thank you Stephanie for letting us know.
Esther, we are all thinking of you and my hopes and prayers are that you get through this fight with the same success you have had with all your others. I send several cyber hugs and lots of love to you and your family hugs and love sarah |

Thanks for the update steph
Pls convey our thoughts and prayers to esther for us.
I am so sorry to hear this as she is such a wonderful and caring person. Cancer does suck!!!! |
Esther's bold adventures always have made me feel more committed to staying "in life". Each time I read of her next journey, I was encouraged by her courage and strength. It makes me so sad to know that she is on this most difficult one! Much love and many prayers to her family. God bless you mighty Esther. ma

Steph, this news saddens me as I always fondly remember Esther and her inspirational and herioc fight with this beast. She would pop in and tell us of skiing trips in far away lands and summer shenanigans.
Please know that I am sending great love and admiration for her and the family and that the prayers are for them all.>>Believe51 |
Oh no. Thank you for letting us know. Esther didn't take her cancer diagnosis lying down - instead, she flew down hills, up valleys, sight seeing and grabbing life by the horns.
I am stocked and saddened that the beast somehow returned. She was doing so wonderfully. I will keep Esther and her family in my thoughts and prayers. |
I'm so sad to hear Esther is not doing well--I always think of her as such a vibrant person--she has been a member here for years. Esther met a friend of mine (another stage 4 brain mets situation) when my friend went out to California for a consultation in LA. My friend is not doing well right now, either, and I feel so helpless and sad for both of them. I HATE this disease--why does it always seem to strike such wonderful people in the prime of their lives? I will keep Esther and her family in my prayers. thanks, Steph for letting us know of her condition and please keep us posted.

Thank you, Steph, for the update on Esther. It is terrible news and I add my prayers . And also for Joy. These brave women were here when I joined this site in '05 and it is very sad to hear this latest report.

This saddens me to hear about Ester's new battle...she was always rapelling, rock climbing, skiing, snorkeling....so vibrant and full of life...prayers to her and positive thoughts that she will bounce back and continue to live life on the edge as she has always done.

I'm so sad to read about Esther. Sending my love and prayers!
Love, Gemma |
Like others have said, Esther's adventures and spirit were inspiration to me when I was a newcomer here. A great example of living life to the fullest no matter what.
|
Steph, I'm so sorry to hear about Esther and remember her very well. I was just thinking of her a while ago so thanks for letting us know.
Esther, all my thoughts and prayer's are with you, I hope you get over this setback and are back with us very soon:) |
I am sending her warm hugs and many positive thoughts. It makes me so mad how quickly things can change but never giving up is the key!
|
I hate this disease.
Add me to the list for prayers for Esther and her family. She has the most beautiful smile and is fighting so hard for us all. Donna |
Esther has been such an inspiration to all of us--I am so sad and am praying.
