Hi "Run" -
Having been at the point Chrisy is, I may be bold enough to hazard that at the time of finally getting a scan that may say NED, we are not quite believing that it has happened! We DO hold our breath - for a LONG time! I prefer to interpret "less clearly seen" as scar since PET says "not metabolically active." I had the same thing - a stubborn spot on my liver that was finally deemed "scar" and resolved within a few months to new tissue and has not been seen since. I wish the same scenario for you, Chris. http://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon7.gif |
I did not see the scan; in fact I have not even seen the report yet! My onc nurse read me the conclusions over the phone. So, that was what the radiologist's eye saw, not mine!

i pray no negative surprises...
are you going to sabc to sit in on the tras-dm1 presentations.. run |
Run-
Yes I will be sitting in when possible and definitely paying attention to the dm1 presentations! On the scan, the radiologist is actually the expert...so when they say good, I say good! |
Hallelujah - we must toast a rita or two in San Antonio on Wednesday nite!
