I join the others in wishing comfort for you and your family, Michael. I so loved to read Lily's posts ... they were always sweet, comforting, and sometimes funny even when she didn't plan it. Lily, you will always be a shining light in our hearts!

Dear Michael -
Your grief is palpable in your brief announcement. I was very sorry to read it. We all were "working" so hard with Lily. She tried every new treatment she could, so we know that this sad outcome was not for lack of her fighting like a Trojan until the end to get hold of her disease. May you find the peace that she has now. I know being a father now will be even more important for you. Here is a flower for our dear Lily. I grew it this summer. |
Simply Amazing
One thing that Lily told her bilangual doctor is that he needed to speak English. She said that she knew this disease only in English and she needed him to talk that 'cancer language'. We must all find some kind of comfort knowing how knowledgeable this Sweetheart was and that this was all left in God's hands. He rescued her from the evils of this horrible disease. Rest in peace Dear Lily Flower. I shall forever love you deeply.>>Believe51
And we are left to do our own healing without her. May God guide us through together. I love you all. |
Add my condolence Michael. Lily has been a shining example for all of us in her spirit to fight the dreadful disease.

In Memory of Lily
They are not dead,
Who leave us this great heritage of remembering joy. They still live in our hearts, In the happiness we knew, in the dreams we shared. They still breathe, In the lingering fragrance, windblown, from their favourite flowers. They still smile in the moonlight’s silver, And laugh in the sunlight’s sparking gold. They still speak in the echoes of the words we’ve heard them say again and again. They still move, In the rhythm of waving grasses, in the dance of the tossing branches. They are not dead; Their memory is warm in our hearts, comfort in our sorrow. They are not apart from us, but part of us, For love is eternal, And those we love shall be with us throughout all eternity. Dear Michael please know how loved Lily was by all, I will keep you and your family in my prayers, I am so very sorry. Jean |

Dear Michael,
I too loved Ms Lily ..I am so very sorry, Marcia For Max and Hannah ~ "I am here, I am deep in your heart. I am in all the joys we lived together, all the sorrow too. I am in the way you walk and talk and smile. I am in the things I taught you that you don't even remember learning. I am in the sunshine of your day, the rain and storm clouds too. I am in your talent and your treasures, deep inside. I am in the look in your eyes when you wonder and behold the day. I am in your tears that search for me and can not see for the rain within your eyes. I am in your longing to find me once more close to you. Here I am, wherever you may be. There I am wherever you go. Carry me within you as once I carried you. Deep inside where no one, nothing can ever take me from you. Be at peace my beloved children. Mom is here." author unknown |
Dear Michael,
I am so sorry to hear about Lily. She was so much a part of this group and I enjoyed receiving her e-mails when she was on the Herceptin DM1 trial. It is so unfair for your beautiful family to lose her at such a you age. My heart goes out to you. Barbara H. |
