Brittany, I too lost my mother at age 57. I vividly remember the shock and pain. You are never ready for this, but do know that you just have to let time pass. It was a comfort to me that Iwas able to care for her in hospice care at my home during her last weeks, we were very close and shared much. Some people don't ever have that relationship. I am thinking of you and your family and never hesitate to reach out and connect with others, that will get you through.

I am very sorry for your Mom's passing. I read your very first posting in 2006 that she was diagnosed in early 2004 with tiny liver mets. Most likely we won't be hearing from you after this. I would like to wish you good healing and comfort. And thank you for being such a dedicated daughter. Your Mom must be looking down smiling at you right now. |

Sending prayers to you and your family Brittany as you move forward during a most difficult time. It has been the greatest pleasure being able to get to know such a precious and loving daughter of yet another Courageous Warrior. That goes for you too, Brittany, it takes alot of courage to trudge forward with the one we love in this breast cancer journey. To put all aside to focus on their well-being, to do whatever it takes, to put life on hold in a sense. You did all that you could and so did Mom, I really hope that can bring you some peace throughout. For certain you were a spectacular caregiver whom has taught me a thing or two.
