That was earth-shattering, heart-felt and well-said. My heart cried as I read the pain that she has encountered through her mother's journey. It makes me want to give her a giant hug. By reading her thoughts I realized this: "She is her mothers daughter for sure". She is certainly someone to be proud of!! Thanks for sharing Flori>>Believe51

Thanks for your words of support. Had another brain mri yesterday to which they added 2 more studies...neck and soft tissue. I was unprepared for the hour and a half required to lay in that machine. I opted out of the soft tissue part after one hour and told them to just add the contrast and let me OUT! I will say that I concentrated on each of your faces - thinking if they can do this then I can do it as well. On a positive note (comma) the new bare essentials mineral make up I bought really lasts a whole day - thru an MRI and an hour of tears running down my face. I looked absolutely radiant despite the intense pain in my neck and arm and the panic from being in a tube didn't show either:). The lip liner really kept my lipstick on as well. I'd say that was money well spent!
I am taking a cancer-vation. I need a break from all this medical crap. Will have a neck cortisone shot on Monday to hopefully anti-inflame my nerve and get rid of this pain. Herceptin on Wednesday. Tykerb everyday. Mushrooms (not the magic ones) and vitamins and supplements and immune specific acupuncture. Oh- Am still trying to find GOD. Then no more power worrying for at least a week. xoxo Flori |

I AM READING ELIZABETH GILBERT'S -- EAT LOVE PRAY -- W/ABSOLUTELY *NO* COMMAS! IN THE TITLE THAT IS. MAYBE THAT'S *A SIGN*, FLORI! THE BOOK IS ABOUT THE AUTHOR'S 6 WKS IN ITALY *EATING* -- WHICH IS FUN AND WELL WRITTEN. I ENJOYED HER BINGEING VICARIOUSLY, CALORIE FREE. I THINK I GAINED ONLY 2 LBS. JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. THEN SHE SPENDS 6 WKS IN INDIA *PRAYING* WHICH INVOLVES HER SEARCH FOR GOD AND HER SPIRITUAL QUEST. (THE LAST PART, WHICH I HAVE NOT GOTTEN TO YET, TAKES PLACE IN INDONESIA, WHERE SHE APPARENTLY FALLS IN LOVE.) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEST SELLER. IT HAS REAWAKENED MY SOUL! I CAN FEEL IT SPEAKING TO ME AGAIN. OF COURSE I ALWAYS LISTEN TO MY INNER VOICE, WHICH IS THE CHANNEL MY TEACHERS, GUIDES AND GUARDIAN ANGELS BROADCAST TO ME ON... HAPPY CANCER-VATION.
