Good to read about others going thru whole-brain radiation. I haven't included my history yet (need to) ----
DX 1999, went thru usual A/C/T
NED until 2004 - then mets to lungs.
Went in/off of Herceptin, Tykeeb, Xeloda, Zometa, Xeloda. Most recently was in Geron+Herceptin+paclitaxel study in Denver but got kicked out due to new brain met.
I did SRS (cyber knife) 2 times - each time got 2 tumors fairly successfully. But due to concerns of tumors crossing into meninges, we're considering whole-brain radiation next month. I did go back on Tykerb with the Herceptin and Xgeva. I run a small business and work 50 hrs a week, so I'm concerned, but optimistic. I'll look at the others' posts for clues!

look at some of the posts for using Intrathecal Herceptin, alone and some are taking it with Topetecan as well.

Oh, Ks, so sorry you're going through this! Praying.

I asked for my brain MRI. My doctor was willing, but said she had to have a reason. I told her to say I'd been having headaches.
