2 nd infusion
Hi Lily and sisters,
Well I did my 2nd infusion, I did not think it went any better this time then the first time........ My counts where just okay, Pallets was only 66, so that would explain my fagtiuge. So I will get my scans done on 21st of this month and not find out until after Christmas , one year my doc called me on Christmas Eve just to tell me the scan was awesome.. What a guy! So if you all would say a prayer for me I would be so grateful. Also if I don't chat with any of you Merry Christmas and May God's blessings be with each of you and thank you sister's for a year full of sadness, joy, tears, fears and many others. But we are still here fighting the "Fight" and being leaders each other. |
Hi Marcia,
I so sure that you scan are going to be better , on Monday I will have all my results ..so far my MRI for my head is clear clear my Doc said that he can't find the place where was ? witch he said is great ...and my body I think is going to be OK because they did took some blood Friday (I need the blood test before infusion) that means I will still receive so the only reason for stooping is progressing; ....stable is OK or getting small or clear .....just think on our sister Barbara she no longer have bone pain and I sure she will have her results good on Monday ...not to worry much I know is hard hard ..but I going to pray for you too..Marcia your results are going to be great too |
Hi Ladies, please keep posting on your progress. I am praying for good results for both of you. And Lily, I was glad to hear your good news!

Well, My Sisters I went today to my every 3 week visit to my Doctor Limentani ..and finally I get the results ...from the 3 lesion one no longer identified and the remaining 2 lesions diminished in sizes .no evidence of new disease in the abdomen, no on the brain all other parts are normal ...that is after 2 treatment of this trial MC1-MCC ; so my Doctor said that is a great news ...Thanks My Lord first ...so is a great Christmas gift for me and everybody on this group this bring more hope for all of us MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY SISTERS

MPB...have you heard if many others are on the same treatment plan as you..at abbott nw... barb said dana farber already has reached their quota for this trial so if other sites are enrolling well.. the phase 1 portion of the weekly dosing regimen may end soon... then hopefully genentech can begin a pivotal phase 3 trial...and possibly be approved sometime maybe late 2009 or 2010...
hugs back... run to live. |
I am not sure I will ask the study nurse if they have any openings?? Are you intersted?
|
i am not interested for myself but for all the women who may need this trial to survive but do not have access or the ability to find the trial in their city..
not all doctors are willing to put their patients in study trials.. before its too late.. i only hope brave women like yourself can forge thru this trial, and prove this drug could be the answer to all our prayers... do you know how many others are in the same trial as you.. genentech should hopefully be able to complete enrollment of this trial within a few months and progress to a full pivotal trial sometime later this year.. run to live |
Dear run to live ..in North Carolina we are only 2 and we have space for 5
