MORE good news ... :) I just got back from walking a half mile for the first time since early chemo, YAAAAAY!!! I still have numbness/tingling in my feet from the taxotere, but I can tell it is MUCH less and improving.

More Vitamin H and my first lymphedema therapy session tomorrow ...

Re: A little bit of good news

Good question, Andi ... I'm not really sure, I went for the consult last week. They measured both arms (the left side where I had the 13 nodes taken is the one that is swollen) and they told me bandaging, massage/drainage ... I'll have more to report tomorrow after I get back. :)

This will be a challenging week -- 4 lymph therapy appts, M, Wed-Friday, and then MWF the following week. I also homeschool our 17 yr old son, the big project at the moment is helping him prepare for a college placement test on May 8th. He's a junior in high school and has really stepped up to the plate, working independently on the majority of his school work this year when I was exhausted from the surgeries/chemo, etc.

He's dual enrolled in community college; taking one course there this semester -- Intro to Computers. He's also taking his latest belt test in Tae Kwon Do last week and this week. He goes to a drama class once a week too and loves it.
