You are a woman of grace and courage. I think there are a lot of things to do to strengthen the heart - CoQ10 and exercise. Herceptin with even 3 tykerb is effective. Swallowing Tykerb is not too hard - they are semi large but slim shaped and coated so they slide right down. You can drink some juice to wash them down...just no food. Dear Tricia. You are in my thoughts. What a warrior and a beautiful person you are.
If Tykerb is an option for you, I think you can manage. Just be careful to take a lower dose in the beginning so it is easier for your body to adapt.

Trica...you are such a role model an inspiration to all of us...you are strong and determined, and where there is a will there is a way...I also have a hard time taking large pills, but the Tykerb do slide down easily....I never had a problem.
Also, wondering about Coreg to build the heart, it has done wonders on mine...ask the cardiologist.
