So glad you are so on top of it, Marcia. And I am relieved to know it was nothing. But good for you for being so diligent about your health! I admire that about you and know that it will continue to serve you well in your journey.

I have never had skin mets (that I know of) but I have had redness come and go on the skin of my left breast (the cancer side). I know how scary that can be.

Marcia, so happy for your good news! Yea!!
I was in your exact same boat about a yr after my dx. Had this spot on my back that was there for about a month. I was pretty anxious, but the results came back benign. What was nice is that the dr's office left a message on my cell to have me call them, but they included in the message for me not to worry that the results were good. What a relief to hear those words!

Many of us have been there...and what a sigh of relief to find out it is nothing....but just a reminder how vigilant we have to continually be....even after almost 9 years, anything unusual makes me worry, and i get it checked.....kudos to you for doing just that! We are all elated over the GOOD news!

Fantastic news!! Although a false alarm, please continue to be vigilant in your follow up...getting into the Dr. immediately was the right thing to do. Just sooo glad for you...I agree with Courtney...take an extra moment to appreciate the California fall weather.

Just a quick follow up on your comment about feeling so alone. WOW...ditto that thought. I agree completely for all of the reasons your outlined. Thank goodness we have this site where we can come and express our fears with people who fully understand.

That is wonderful news. I bet that was a major relief. I think we have all been there and it's not fun waiting on the news. But you can breath deep again...go out and have some much deserved fun. I can see that big smile when you got the news. Woo Hoo! :)
