Nothing like a new puppy or dog to bring joy to your life! We only have one dog right now but he keeps us on our toes and laughing alot! Congrats on the new family member.

I am in Fort Worth right now for a trade show. Last week I was in Tampa for a different trade show. Travel season for me has begun. It will be a busy few months and then, hopefully, boating season will be here. Come on warm weather!

I'm so glad you got your puppy! Wonderful, wonderful.

I think with a little more time AND better communication with my adviser I can pull this off. It's worth a try, anyway.

Update: I found out early this week that I did pass Exam II on my second attempt! My adviser is a sweetheart--really. And he's the right person for the research I want to do. But he had not gotten around to telling me or the school that I passed. I found out in a Skype call that I scheduled.

I'll be taking Exam III in April and flying to Boston for an oral exam in May. I was also granted one last extension on my prospectus. I have until December 31 to get it approved, but I want to have it wrapped up by the end of the summer.

A puppy would be more entertaining, but I do like to study, so this works for me.
