Just wanted you to know that I left my job to focus on living 9 years ago...it was very hard at first, I loved my job and the income.....After my Short Term Disability ended, I rolled into LTD....and then the company ins...CIGNA, made me apply for SSD. I was awarded SSD, and then Cigna had a reduced monthly payment for me, to their benefit. Not soon after I was awarded SSD, Cigna decided I was no longer "disabled". I fought them until I had no fight left...how could it be that SSD said I was disabled, but not my company insurance. I finally gave up, figured if CIGNA needed the money that bad, let them have it...it cost me alot of income, but i can say 9 years later, I dont miss the income, and when did I ever have time to work??? THe valuable time I have been able to spend with family, friends and life is PRICELESS!!! Hoping you will get to this point too!
