Brest cancer is the most common cancer in women. Among breast tumors that spread to other organs (develop metastasis), 70% belong to a variant, called luminal, whose cells are sensitive to the female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. Unfortunately for my wife, this "RANK" idea did not pan out. She was on the regimen of Abemaciclib (a CDK4/6 inhibitor), trastuzumab biosimilar, Fulvestrant, and Denosumab. This regimen work for about 10 months.
