Hello all,
Well, my CT scan from the day before Thanksgiving showed that I now have lung mets. My oncologist is thinking to move me to Enhertu as the next therapy. Have any of you heard of this medication? I was reading this shows more effectiveness than Kadcyla but there is sure more serious side effects. Would love to hear back from those who have experienced lung mets.
Thank you all.
Jackie

Hi Jackie,
No lung mets myself, but it does sound as if Enhertu is outperforming Kadcyla. However lung problems could be among the side-effects, so you would probably need careful monitoring from your treatment team.
Best wishes.... Pam

Thanks so much, Pam, for your reply. Indeed the lungs would need monitoring. I am so glad that you continue to do well; recall you are right behind with the timeframe of mets dx. Cheers to stable.

Was sorry to hear you are no longer NED . But wow just wow 10 years , wishing it was more but you've reached NED status once before so nothing saying it can’t happen again .
I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to hear those words . I’ve personally have been NED for 8 years but I was not at stage 4 and never have been . Anyway just another IBC sister wishing you soon to be NED status once again .

Hi-
I will be starting Enhertu this Friday. The Herceptin/Perjeta combo wasn't working so on to a new option. I am glad to have options - just wish they weren't needed! I will let you know how it goes. Please let me know how you fare as well. Thanks!
