This place was such a huge source of comfort for me for many years. The women and men on this site gave me hope and encouragement. I hope that by me posting today I will help someone too.

Since I was diagnosed 15 years ago today, my little baby Emma is now 15 too. She’s got her learners license and will be a sophomore in high school this fall. My boys are finishing up in college and my husband and I are trying to figure out what our next adventure will be for this summer. We always go away for a trip, just the two of us & enjoy life as much as we can even if we can’t afford it

Hugs to everyone!
Ruth

PS I edited this to try to add a picture but can’t seem to add anything! I was hoping to put a current picture in but it wouldn’t let me or I’m just not tech savvy enough
