Good Day Ladies,
Let me start by saying "Thanks" for being you. Lately, my stomach has been bloated being pro-active l thought l go to my GP she requested an abdomial autrosound. Results came in and l have two small cysts on my liver. My doctor said she wants to do a CT scan because it will give a better image and more details (breast cancer history for Her2) I am nervous but trying to be positive l have it this Tuesday. This is confusing but l will ask lots of questions once l get results l will share with you. One of the questions if it is a cysts can they lead to breast cancer mets. My question for you ladies has anyone here ever have cysts on the Liver?

Thanks for your support!

Debster,

Welcome to our group! I have not had cysts in my liver, however if these are truly cysts then not likely to be malignant as cysts aren't. That is the good news!

When you have time, please go in and update your signature so we know your history. It will help others to offer advise and assistance. Please let us know what you learn on Tuesday.

Hi Debster, Yes I have cysts though not malignant, picked up on my staging scans before neoadjuvant treatment . A lot of people have them, some are born with them and others develop over time. Usually harmless and do not require any surgical intervention. In response to your question.. no a cyst will not turn into a malignant breast cancer met. Hope that helps ease your mind. xx
