I've been stage 4 going on 3 years now. Currently on a clinical trail after
Herceptin and perjeta failed me. I'm currently stable but always waiting for the hammer to drop. I'm out currently on STD. Would to hear from people who are living long term with stage 4

Hi there,
I am 6 years on and living well. Recently heard from a woman on an Australian forum who is 17 years Stage IV. Quite a few old hands on this too.
Yes, there is always the uncertainty, but in that uncertainty is hope.
Best wishes to you..... Pam

I am 6.5 years out. Hope this helps. Still married, work fulltime, travel, exercise, having fun with the people who love me. Living with Stage IV has no road map. Medical research calls us exceptional responders. In this case, it's good to be the outlier or the odd duck.

At the end of this year, I'll be 11 years Stage IV, and 18 years since original diagnosis. It's natural to have low times Valleygirl, but I'm sure there are still lots of options out there for you. And reaching out to this board, and researching old posts here, provides such valuable information and hope.
Cheers Marie
