Hi all;
I just completed a three day fast at home and feel wonderful. Breaking the fast with salads and steamed vegetables, etc. for a few days is important but I was amazed that I had no pain. I don't think I would do it during chemo but I have fasted before....when I was young I went on a fast and on the third day I passed a blockage (just blood in my urine for a day) and after ten years married and unable to conceive, I became pregnant immediately and had two children. So I do believe in the healing power of the fast. Just rest during a 3 day fast and let your body heal. My fasts are water only.
